  Look out for a new congregation position for elders wives: Helper to the Elders

  geoffrey jackson spent 20 minutes accepting the position that it is not scripturally prohibited for women to be used in the investigation process, although probably not the jc itself (he said he'd check the scriptures on that bit, but we can guess the outcome).. look out for the wives of elders jostling for and gaining these positions.

  there will be no better opportunity for gossip mongers to raise their status in the congregation than being officially involved in the intimate private business of others in the congregation.. think of the power they will have in advising the elders on a jc if she thinks the victim is credible, with her opinion, bias and embellishments on the details.

  i wouldn't fancy the chances of a victim who has previously fallen out with one of these 'helpers'.. whatever next, sisters handling microphones??!

  Although this discussion is justified, my opinion is this.

  Any kind of sexual abuse is a matter for the secular authorities and not the elders or elderettes.

  geoffrey jackson will attempt to df them all, shun them, take away their privileges, write a wt article on them, have the elders talk to them, their family cut off ties with them, read them watchtower articles, tell them they need to submit at least 10 hours per month etc... .

  then, the "oh shit" look on his face moment when he realizes he has no power outside of his pinky ring club.

  I say NO, he will not turn up. The worst that can then happen to him, is he goes to prison. And the R&F will really love that, "Persecution, one of the GB is in prison, persecution, its started. The Great Tribulation will start soon, we are so near to the end. Persecution."

  But hardly any of the R&F will even bother to try and find out why this happened.

  So I definitely say NO.

  they are told that persecution is coming and that all will see it.. they are told that there will be lies in the media about us.. they even give the old brother king interview about brothers being jailed.

  the last sentence tony the tiger damn near screams at the camera to stay faithful you integrity keepers... he knows your fathers and husbands may be going to jail.

  this talk is all about damage control.. .

  Interesting in this talk was that he referred to a JW child dying because of the blood issue as an isolated case and the press blowing it out of proportion (which is no doubt true, but justified). Now that sets the theme for mind manipulation. Any pedophile action by a JW, will now be in the mid of a JW as an isolated case, and being blown out of proportion by the press, and this as we all know is very far from the truth. So any form of action by any authority concerning any pedophile action will now be consider by the R&F as something being blown out of proportion, thus persecution.

  Well at least that (I believe) is what the GB want to achieve, unfortunately many JWs will fall for this. Mind manipulation in action.

  Royal Commission - Clarification of 1,006 unreported abusers

  knowing that many here like to relate information as accurately as possible i just wanted to make a clarification regarding the unreported abusers in the australian jw religion.. it is not correct for us to state that there are 1,006 cases of unreported abusers in australia since 1950. .

  this is what the commission has reported in the opening address .

  those documents include 1,006 case files relating to allegations of child sexual abuse made against members of the jehovahs witness church in australia since 1950 each file for a different alleged perpetrator of child sexual abuse.

  If the non-reporting of a serious crime is in itself a crime, then there are an awful lot of criminal elders withing the organization.

  i have first hand knowledge that geoffrey jackson of the governing body is staying with his parents in toowoomba, queensland for the next few weeks.

  he has already been in australia for a couple of weeks.

  well another big bad elder here just wanting to say sorry.. i'm sorry that so many were treated like crap, and shown that god's love is not to be found around jehovah's witnesses.

  i'm sorry that inadvertently i've likely taught many to judge and as such see that racism permeates every corner of the jw world, else why else would someone be of the world, or even inactive.

  i'm sorry i sat in on a jc, and voted to df.

  Well, I tried telling my wife the TTATT, she did not want to listen and was not prepared to discuss one single item, that was about five months ago. She does not talk to me meaningfully about anything, we are separated in our own home. This is due to the toxic idea that one should not talk or discuss with an apostate. As a matter of love; I guess she shows more love to the bOrg than to me. Anyway I have to live with that and come to terms with the fact that the bOrg has destroyed our marriage.

  it was a simple question: isn't jesus my "mediator" if i put faith in him like the scriptures say?

  the research to that answer, from the w79 4/1 p. 31, was mind blowing.

  how dare they deny me a belief firmly stated in the scriptures?

  Just received a visit from 2 Elders

  the elders did not stay long and it wasn`t an official visit sanctioned by the boe/cobe because they were not from my (ex)congregation.

  we talked a little about my situation and the fact that my wife does not talk to me and how non-scriptural her behavior is.. then they mentioned the rc and how it was the best convention for the last 20 years.

  one thing they did mention was the fact that the borg was clearly preparing them for persecution.
